This Means War is a breath of fresh air that challenges the stereotypical spy movies and just makes us laugh. Only a few months ago Mission Impossible hit the big screen, showcasing gadgets, cars and fist fights, but didn’t you think we’ve seen this all before? Well so did the producers of This Means War because their new romantic spy comedy is a must see movie.

The film starts with two spies, who are also best friends, getting suspended from their missions and meeting up with the same girl. They both realise and begin a race to see who can get her first. Meanwhile the woman has a big dilemma and is talking to her annoying friend who gives her hilarious advice. The two guys pull out all the stops to become the perfect guy by using cameras, microphones and probes. This makes for a side splitting movie where you’ll find yourself chuckling throughout the entire movie.

The plot is not hard to follow and you don’t find yourself cringing at the terrible acting. This movie breaks down all the barriers of the genres to create one of the best movies of the year so far.
